Who is PFI?

Pilot Flight Instruction was created by a talented group of software developers in San Diego, California who have spent the past 15 years creating online conferencing systems, corporate web sites and eBusiness systems. Several of the development team members are pilots who were dissatisfied with other directories lack of complete information about CFIs and schools.

What does PFI do?

Pilot Flight Instruction was created with the intention of making the easiest-to-use online directory of Flight Schools and CFIs on the Internet. It is an easy way for a student pilot to find a great instructor based on location, experience and specialization.

We help students

PFI is not just an online search tool; our staff are aviation enthusiasts who can help students refine their search based on our relationships with schools and instructors throughout the nation. We help schools and instructors

PFI provides a valuable resource for schools and instructors to showcase their capabilities, certifications, equipment, and the quality of their instructional programs, and match them to qualified students looking to begin their flight training. Schools and instructors can upload photos as well as videos to help students choose the right match. PFI's messaging and mutual interest system helps connect students and schools. PFI staff get to know the instructors and schools to which we refer students, and offer valuable support by ensuring that students are well informed and well qualified once they begin their studies.
